Community Relations

A University Engaged

At George Mason University, we consider ourselves an integral part of the greater community, and, as such, faculty, staff, and students have energetically formed partnerships and programs that significantly affect the lives of those who call Northern Virginia home.

The University Engaged web site contains a large sampling of the services, programs, and partnerships that Mason can provide or is engaged in throughout the community.

Office of Community Relations

The Office of Community Relations is the primary contact for individuals, business and community organizations, and local municipalities that seek involvement with the university. Through community outreach programs, such as Mason Speakers (see page 34); representation on community boards and committees; and the community-centered publication, At Your Service: A Guide to University Resources, this office shares Mason’s many resources with individuals and groups in the Northern Virginia region and beyond. Call 703-993-8846.
